[38] He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. [39] (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given ; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
John 7:38-39 KJVS
In this passage, the Lord Jesus declares that if you believe in Him, you will observe rivers of living water flowing out of you.
But what does this mean?
Verse 39 shows that what the Lord said in verse 38 about rivers of living water flowing out of those who believe in Him is actually a reference to the Holy Spirit. Meaning, the expressions of the Holy Spirit through you are rivers of living water; and because Isaiah 11:1-2 tells us of the seven aspects of the Holy Spirit’s operations, we understand that there are seven dimensions to the living waters that can flow out of you.
Waters are words. Ephesians 5:26 says: “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”. Because the words are not just mere words, but are the Word of God, they are called living waters (life-giving waters). As such, seven dimensions of living waters means seven dimensions of words that can flow out of you. There are words (or waters) of the will of God, words (or waters) of wisdom, words (or waters) of understanding, words (or waters) of counsel, words (or waters) of might, words (or waters) of knowledge, words (or waters) of the fear of the Lord. This is based on the breakdown of the seven spirits of God in Isaiah 11:2.
Interestingly, many Christians are familiar with word of wisdom and word of knowledge. But it turns out that there is word of might, word of the will of God, word of counsel, word of understanding and word of fear the fear of God.
For any situation possible, these seven dimensions are perfectly suited to deal with it. At least one of them is enough to provide solution to any issue. As such, having these rivers flowing out of you makes you a solution bringer, and thus, a Kingdom representative that advertises the advantage of the influence of God.
But first, you must believe on Him!
Such words emerge from you when you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God who has been sent as our Messiah (our Deliverer) to set us free from all expressions of the powers of darkness (as it relates to sin, sickness, oppressions, wickedness, witchcraft, etc).
Believing this about Jesus and being willing to act on the premise of this with clear expectation of an effect of this truth is what causes the rivers of living water to flow in its seven dimensions.
You are a first beneficiary. As the waters well up, they cause your soul first to be a well watered garden – watered with the living waters. And then they flow out to bless others, so that you minister from the standpoint of being well-watered.
But it all begins with believing on Him.
Wait on the Lord to renew strength and develop wings to mount up with the wind of the Spirit, so that indeed, you will truly believe on Him.

Prayer:
Prayer for today: Lord Jesus, please help me. I don’t want to believe that I believe. Help me to actually believe on You. That You are who You say You are. Help me to believe You enough to act on Your truth and speak and behave in a manner that affirms that I believe that You are who You say You are. Help me Lord Jesus that Your rivers of living water will flow through me in its seven dimensions. Let me have the word of Your will, the word of wisdom, the word of understanding, the word of counsel, the word of might, the word of knowledge and the word of Your fear to be able to provide the appropriate solution to any issue. Help me Lord to represent You well here on earth, so that people will see You in me and glorify You. Thank You Lord Jesus for answering me. Amen.
