The more earthly-minded you are, the more ground you will give for the serpent to prey on you. The curse to the serpent is that he will feed on the dust, he is bound to the earth Genesis 3:14. Romans 8:6 KJV says “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
